This morning I asked on Facebook to fill in the blank: My exercise routine is ________?
A lot of the answers were much like I would fill in the blank. Non-existent!
I don’t have an exercise routine. I really don’t like to exercise. I’m too tired to exercise and that’s the last thing I want to do with my day. I’d much rather sleep in in the morning and if I wait until later in the day, then I’m going to be too busy to fit it in. And don’t even think about trying to fit it in at night because then I’m too exhausted.
Does this sound like you? Probably most of us, huh?
I was given the opportunity to review the book Fit Moms for Life by Dustin Maher and thought, sure! I pretty much try anything once! (well within reason! ) I’m just getting into the beginning of the book but already I’m really encouraged. However, this post isn’t my review. I will get up that up soon!
Last night, I got an email from Dustin inviting me to participate in the 21 Day Mommy Blogger Weight Loss Challenge. Already liking what I’ve read so far in his book, I again said sure! The tricky part was that the challenge started today. Eeeeks! But no time like the present right?!! So I had to quickly get my head in the right place and my food! Yikes…FOOD!
Day 1 of the challenge…I missed my exercise. ugh. I’m behind on reading and following the DVD we were given so the day went by and my exercise did too. BUT..I’m going to catch up and make sure I figure that out for tomorrow. Food on the other hand, I did better with! I cut out all the bad stuff and increased my water in take. Still need to drink more water and get more fruits and veggies. Wow, the sugar cravings are really kicking in in the evenings. Eeesh!
I still made Cheesy Pasta on the meal plan for today but I substituted whole grain penne for the pasta and tried to keep the cheese to a minimum. I also kept my serving size down.
