Day 2 Mommy Blogger Weight Loss Challenge

I probably won’t be blogging every day of the 21 days of the challenge but today was my first workout day. I’m happy to report that I made it through it! I may not be able to walk or lift my arms tomorrow but I made it through it! :D

If you read my first blog post about the challenge, you know that I’m not into exercise. My kids were really confused when I got out my weights and the stability ball. It’s important though that they see me exercising. Obviously, it’s a rare for me and they’re not used to it!

I was definitely sweating by the end…well half way through! HA! I got to a point that I was even feeling a bit sick. That was towards the end with those darn crunches. Ugh. But the program was great! It’s definitely something I can follow.

I did good with my food again today. My biggest problem is that I’m a picky eater so most of what is on the blogger meal plan doesn’t look all that appealing to me. Loaded with onions, peppers and some foods that I don’t recognize! ;) So I had to improvise but I still got in my protein and stayed away from the bad carbs. I still have another 20 oz of water to drink tonight but I’m going to get working on that!

Eating healthy is definitely important but not always that easy. And when you’re a mom, sometimes you are last on the list. You put your family first and that may mean skipping meals or grabbing whatever is quick and convenient. Most days, I don’t even remember to eat breakfast until almost lunch time. But that all has to change.

What do you all struggle with when trying to eat right?

    I struggle with staying motivated when the pounds are not coming off. I then indulge, diet, indulge, diet then give in to indulging in an unhealthy lifestyle.

    Try to think about what’s inside the convenience foods so that you’ll focus on whole foods. Some of the chemicals in there are the same things you find in your kitchen cleaner. Would you eat your kitchen cleaner?
