Loving our SodaStream!

I have been hearing so much about the SodaStream that I just had to try it for myself! We visited our friends for a weekend and they told us all about theirs, how much they loved it and how much money it saved them.

My husband is a big pop drinker and the price of it is just killing me! I can’t stand shelling out that much money.

Granted I don’t let my kids drink a lot of pop. If I do, it’s definitely caffeine free. I will buy special soda for them as a treat when I find it on sale but I generally do not stock several different kinds of soda just for the kids.

When I got my SodaStream Genesis, I had fun experimenting with the different flavors. It really is fun to make and easy! ;) The kids even join in and enjoy making soda too.

I love that it’s saving me money on buying 12 packs but also, I love not having all those empty cans to deal with. Best of all though is that I can easily stock several different flavors and make whatever kind of soda I want at the time. This really came in to play the other day when my little guy was sick. I always go for the lemon lime type sodas whenever any of us is sick or has tummy issues. But again, I don’t normally keep all types of pop on hand so I usually would have to run to the store and grab something. Not this time. I just grabbed the lemon lime flavor and whipped up a liter of soda.

SodaStream carries 50 different flavors! Here’s a little more info:

Making your favorite soda, flavored sparkling water or energy drink is simple, with SodaStream’s wide variety of over 50 sodamix syrups including dozens of regular, diet and caffeine-free options. Flavors include classics like cola, lemon-lime, and root beer…Exotic fruit flavors like orange mango and diet pink grapefruit…Energy drink, sparkling iced teas and cocktail mixers. Each bottle of sodamix makes about 12 liters of soda (about 33 cans!) for around 25 cents per 12-ounce can.

One of the first things I thought of after getting my SodaStream was making Italian Sodas. Yum Yum Yum! Here’s an easy recipe that you can easily make with your new SodaStream:

2 ounces Italian syrup, flavor of choice
1 ounce half-and-half or 1 ounce milk
non-flavored soda water
whipped cream (optional)

1. Fill a glass with ice, add syrup, soda water and half-and-half or milk.
2. Stir to combine flavors.
3. Top with whipped cream if desired.

  49. The principal differences among in between today’s drivers and individuals of your Heroic Era (1900-1985) are several: (one) Though present-day drivers are skilled at car control, promotion and public relations, they don’t have to face the same level of hazard of injury or death that their forebears did. The requirement of courage is not as significant today. Secondly, the commercial element of the sport had become all-pervasive and sponsors seek to protect a “name brand” driver due to the fact in the investment produced in him/her as properly as to not distrub the consumer by linking their product with one thing as unacceptable as injury or death. I acquired a chance to discover the “name drivers”, and some others, perform within the 1960s as very well as assembly and speaking with a few of them. I’m content I acquired the chance. The memory of these does not fade.
