Homemade Hot Cocoa
Now that it’s getting colder outside, my kids have been wanting hot cocoa almost everyday. Swiss Miss can get expensive! Here’s a homemade recipe that is delicious and maybe a little more cost effective!
This would also be perfect to put in canning jars and wrap up for gifts!
15 oz jar powdered hazelnut creamer
30 oz can Nesquik
1 C powdered sugar
8 C powdered milk
Mix all ingredients in a seal tight container such as a large Tupperware or gallon ice cream bucket that you can store it in.
To serve: Place 1/4 – 1/2 C of cocoa into a cup. Gradually stir 8 oz hot water into mix. Add a dollop of frozen cool whip, whip cream or a few marshmallows on top and enjoy!
